Now imagine yourself shackled to a body that doesn't function properly. You are unable to tie your shoes much less walk or run. Consider for a moment how it must feel to be locked inside a mind of chaos, clouded by anger, frustration, or fear. Imagine how it must feel not to be able to think cognitively or to concentrate, to be drowning in obstacles that prevent you from even communicating with your loved ones. Mission Statement The Eastern North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center is a private non-profit facility committed to providing Equine Facilitated Learning and Equine Assisted Therapy to children and adults. We offer programs for those who suffer from a myriad of emotional and psychological issues as well as physical disabilities. We also develop, evaluate, and provide programs for children that foster a child's ethical, social, and intellectual development.
